One day, Kazane and Honoka visited the Kagari household and he was brought to Ayaka by a flame familiar: seeing the girl, chained up to the wall, Honoka decided to free her.
When Ayaka was eventually born, her birth mother, Kayou Kagari, locked her away and forced her through many experiments that made Ayaka Evermillion's host. She is certain she and Honoka knew each other, but can't remember that time, hypothesizing that their memories were erased.Įventually, it's revealed that Ayaka is the last member of the Kagari household, a shady clan of witches that attempted to create the most powerful witch of all through selection of their lineage generation after generation.

However, Ayaka does seem to have difficulty understanding Honoka's feelings at times, such as his frustration in not being able to fight alongside her or when he demands she not go easy on him during magic training. She has no concern for the student council as she did not seem to have any qualms of relieving Seito Kaichou of her position as the president of the entire council. Whether it be her magic powers or using her authority as the Princess, Ayaka does everything in her power to be with Honoka. Because of this, she often becomes angry or annoyed when Honoka is antagonized and will not tolerate those who would try to pull them apart only for Ayaka to make them pay. Ayaka regards anyone who tries to harm him (whether be it a Tower Witch, just a school bully or a member of the student council) as enemies who must be eliminated. She is defensive of Honoka to the point that even him getting a small scrape on his elbow during training causes her to panic. When Honoka Takamiya is involved, Ayaka's demeanor changes greatly, having an almost single-minded focus on him and shows a lethal temper that even a small slight can set off. In middle school, she was downright inept at social interaction. Typically, she doesn't even react to people or talk, ignoring even her fan club who is around her daily. She is extremely stoic, her expression almost never changing and she's never been shown smiling. She has no concerns for her fans and is willing to attack them if they bothered Honoka. As the princess, she has her own fan club and personal defense team comprised of her fans. The Princess is an extremely powerful Witch and her power is only second to her mother and chairwoman of the school Kazane Kagari. Her most obvious traits are her great height as she towers over nearly everyone in the series, and her large breasts.Īyaka is usually seen wearing her school uniform on most occasions a white blouse with a blue tie and a green vest and skirt which covers her upper thigh.Īyaka is the Princess of Tougetsu Academy, a title given to who is considered the best student in the school.
